The Roadtrip has begun...

Hey everyone! I bet you guys were beginning to think that "Jenna's Never Ending Roadtrip" was actually the "Never happening road trip"- but you would be wrong- I have just been a bit busy with the whole process of moving across the country!

Turns out I get 3 weeks to drive to Cali so I am taking my sweet time with the journey. My drive was pretty uneventful- Brody (my cat) thoroughly enjoyed the entire process of being sedated and thrown into a car for 13hours but she only screamed out the window about 2 hours off and on:)

My first stop Clarksville, TN (near Nashville, TN) to stay with Sam for the week. (The pictures are actually us in Baltimore but so far we haven't done much that we've taken pictures of!)

My first assignment is in San Diego,CA working with a private pediatric clinic and supposedly visiting the local schools to do some PT with the kids there. I have an apartment set up in Rancho Bernardo- which I have gotten word that the area used to be a cattle ranch but is now a golf course. The pictures online are beautiful and I am pretty excited but first- back to the drive!

My next stop is not so far away to Memphis where I can visit with the King for a few hours but then I am off to Texas and Arizona for visits with friends!

The Kennedy Krieger Festival of Trees 2008

Hey everyone! I just finished up a couple events I wanted to get pictures posted from! Here are some from the weekend of Nov. 29-30th at the Timmonium Fairgrounds Cow Palace:)

These are some pictures from my recent adventure to Asheville NC. This was my first camping trip where I flew to the location. I got all the gear into 2 carry-ons! Wow- ok ok I had to make a tiny trip to Wal Mart when I got to NC but most of the stuff fit!

This is me hooping it up at Chimney Rock- an elevation of 2280 ft- the higher the hooping the better I suppose:)

The First of Many Rambling Blog Posts...

Hello from Salisbury MD! Wow- this first assignment is so far from everything I have known- yet so close- haha. I will try to categorize this blog so you can read what you want-enjoy:)

So where am I?
I am living with my friend Naomi in Delmar MD- an exotic local with sun and fun- sike. I currently have no internet access, cell phone reception, or any other amenities in Delmar- sorta like Amish living I guess. Ok Ok I am being a little sarcastic with that one- but you all can expect lots of that on this blog.
Where am I working:
I am working at Healthsouth in Salisbury and its a beautiful first assignment- the gym is HUGE and open to sunlight- unique concept isn't it therapists!? There is a palm tree in the center that is taller than me on my stilts and I have chosen to treat my patients under it everyday. I have a feeling I am being a little spoiled with this assignment so be prepared when I am disappointed in the future.

Circus/performances:
Nov. 29/30- Kennedy Krieger Festival of Trees- afternoons at the Cow Palace Timmonium Fairgrounds. Stilt walking and hooping/lessons

Dec. 5- Pigtown Chistmas Party- 7-10pm at Gaslight Square. Hooping, stiltwalking, POI

Dec. 7- Salisbury Christmas parade- afternoon in Salisbury. Stiltwalking as a "fairy godmother" haha- its a new role:)

Plans:
So my dreams of the West Coast are very much alive and well. Everything is in progress of actually being achieved but I am expecting a few more bumps before I get there:)
