Glamis Sand Dunes and Hoopy Birthday Rose!

Hello again! I have for you some photos of the Glamis Sand Dunes- what an amazing site those were to just drive up on! I had no idea they were along the road to Vegas! El Centro, CA

This place reminds me a bit of Delaware- its very flat but its surrounded by mountains and 115* outside. I have a great place and as you can see- I have made myself very comfortable. The livingroom has 9ft ceilings and plenty of space for practicing my circus arts:)The picture of the hoops is my newest toy- we call it DE CUBE!!! Its used as a juggling prop- but you spin it around like a hoop. I took it on the campout to Angeles National Forest which I will post pics for next. Come for a visit and we can still get to San Diego in 2 hours, LA in 3 hours, and Vegas in 5 hours. I am having a great time though- but planning for a trip back to the East Coast in December!!!!

Sundazee Party

So for anyone who has never heard of Burning Man- look it up:) These are friends of mine from San Diego who attend this yearly festival in the Nevada desert. Though they have been on me all year to go- I decided to skip it this year so I could be better prepared next year- there is no money allowed at the Burn- you must bring everything you need or be prepared to barter. There is also only biking and walking allowed- some vehicles but most are art projects more than transportation. This is a party in a backyard that I attended-the people who own it build structures and tents at Burning Man.

Weekends in San Diego

Here are pictures from a weekend party my friends (Rose and Jared) and I went too. Basically, a DJ will get a permit to set up where ever they want to throw a party and then through the amazingness of the internet- a party is born:) This on was thrown in the middle of a traffic circle in a little area called "Shelter Island". We all had a blast hooping and dancing in the sweet sunshine. It was down near the water and everything!





























































































Here is the only picture I got with my surf board- its official- I'm a surf diva now! I was amazed to actually stand up on the board my second attempt- I think vaulting might have helped a bit though.

Friends along the way

All in all, it was a pretty crazy, spontaneous, struggle of a trip but I gained a whole lot from it and now I know that I can put my whole trip in the hands of other people and still have an amazing time:) Here are random pics of me and friends: Andrea, Sheri and I, and me doin a handstand, Greta and Jenna!! First is me and Badge, then me and Comet, then Mark and Badge- they are soooo big! But love the camera as you can tell. The shadow images are me in the "Big Barn" where Erik's horses are staying this month. It is one of the biggest wooden barns in the world!!
